I do, just come back from the Moose Valley Mel installed a glorious 5" stacks on my truck, all the way :Sly I had a great time and I must say those stacks are pics are coming .
We had a good time. It's nice when a project goes smoothly, and you have all the parts and tools on hand. Took us a leisurely 3 hours I guess. Could have probably knocked a half hour off if my band saw was bigger than 4-1/2. I had never built a 5" system before. Too expensive for my blood. The exhaust really rolls out those chimey's though. Very appropriate for a man who works on chimney's for a living.
Yes they look really cool, Mel is a Master with the torch. He got all the parts and showed Me wath goes where, I will take pics tomorrow from all the exhaust system. It does not change performance but it redraw my grin face from the turbo once again.
oh I forgot another way to adapt big pipe to much smaller pipe with out ussing all the reducers and clamps is to weld a flat plate to the bottom of your big pipe use a whole saw to cut a hole the size of your smaller pipe and weld in a short piece then one clamp and your done
O it does have lots of smocke, I could not help my self and step on the pedal some times does smocke I'll take some pics but it's hard to hold the pedal and take a good pic at the same time.
EZ, you need to get Vivi to stand along the side of the road while you fuel it. As for all these welding suggestions, tis true, but when your getting free help, you gotta buy the parts.
