A mig with the proper settings can do Very thin metals but it'll never have the accuracy of the tig. The way I saw it, it's not holding anything and its not a show truck.

I didn't want to heat it to pull the oils because of warpage. If I knew it wouldn't warp very easy I would have brazed the whole thing with a coat hanger

I know a mig can do thin also I just am a diehard tig guy I guess, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with the way you did it, it looks awesome. And it would have taken a lot longer with tig to controll distortion from heat. At work I mostly tig and they always want everything right away. Then proceed to ***** when it warps haha, that's okay though because there are 3 guys newer than me so they get to straighten everything.
