Always good to see this thing pop back up for newer members who don't have it, but it has been posted here a few times now. =P

Thanks for sharing. This is a great resource and can definitely help you understand the basic workings of a DB2. Just be aware that there are quite a few differences between what is shown here and the version of the pump our trucks use. The light load advance, min-max governor, and cold start advance are three major differences I noted after just a quick look and there are a lot of small differences as well.

It also states that the fuel filters should filter 75-80% of 5 micron particles. So I always wonder why 7.3 trucks are factory equipped with a 10 micron filter... The 6.9 filters are a 5 micron however. Does anyone seem to notice longer pump life with 6.9s equipped with factory filters over the 7.3s with the 10 micron?

I run a 2 micron filter 33815 WIX I am currently getting 26.6 mpg
Verified about 2 hours ago, I ****** out my tank to find the
needle in the haystack.
