Getting close to 36k miles

My wife drives a 2004 Jetta TDI and it is getting close to 36k miles. Anything I should look for before the warranty goes out? I have head no problems yet. This is the second we have had the first one was a 2002 with 45k miles which we traded it in on the new one.

Can you give me any info. on the warranty? Thanks

I think the 04 have 4 yrs 50000 mile warranty on them. I know the 05 does.

Check the pulley on the Altenator. Mine came off 350 miles IN Warranty. Tore up the Alt. Shaft & I got a new one out of VW. It was on National Backorder, so I think it was a common problem. On Warranty: I think it's 36k Bumper to Bumper, 50k on Drivetrain.

Thanks for the input. I hadn't heard about alternator pulley problems. I was also told to check out he CV boots.
