Thinking ahead to the 250 PSD, it has been sitting for about 5-6 months, has about 1/2 tank in it. Fuel Filter is new. Since it is not economically feasible right now for me to drain the tank. Was thinking, when we get starter on it and crank it, it might be wise to use a fuel additive? I have, in the past used the Diesel Additives. But lately have also used in my 350 IDI and out gas vehicles used SeaFoam.

Thoughts?

I agree. You should have not problems. The only thing to be concerned for is if the temps fluctuated rapidly, such as might be expected it the truck was stored outside. If that were the case then some water could develop inside the tank. I wouldn't worry about it though. Keep in mind, home heating oil is the same as diesel and that usually sits in the tank for months at a time during the spring and summer seasons. I've never heard of anyone with a problem with them. Obviously, it couldn't hut adding some fuel additive. I run it all year long and my injectors appreciate it.
