I tested my FIPL the other day and got these results.

at idle .998
WOT 3.9

I know the tech article says 1.05-1.1 and 3.8 to no more then 4.3.

Should I adjust it or leave it? Will bringing it to 1.1 on the bottom side change my shifting?

Its VERY close to spec. and it looks like a pain to adjust. But what do you guys think? As some of you know I have a 1st gear shudder, so what are the odds bringing this, what .082V up will do anything for me?

Thanks!

I would loosen off the two torx screws and move it up to 1.1. I had adjusted mine up to 1.2 as a TSB had recommended, but was not happy with the shifts, seamed to kick up too soon. I brought it back down to 1.1, and just did a 2400 km road trip towing about max weight ( or a bit more) for my truck with 3.55 rear end. I was very happy with the way it shifted, could stomp on the accelerator and it would kick down a gear, etc. It's rally not hard to adjust, if you don't like the result you can move it back.
