F 350 rear wheel brakes

Took my 1991 F 350 srw down to check rear brakes. 2nd owner, had the truck for 12 years. Rear brake shoes are 3.5 inches wide with a 1inch wheel cyl. now leaking. Is this the correct size shoe for this truck? Auto parts stores say it should take 3 inch shoes.

Srw should be 3" and cab & chassis should be 3.5".

Since single wheels fits a dually axle, probably best to check which drums you have. Rockauto is good for pictures

Look at putting the beefier Chevrolet wheel cylinder in. Did that. Helped a lot. Learnt that from 3500 rams on tv.

If not mistaken 3 1/2 are for dually an 3" for single rwd .
