I have alot of brake parts to put on this weekend. Sooo, One more won't hurt. Will a master cyl. ( new ) for a 92 F-350 fit on my 250? Will it give me more braking power? When I first got this truck I replaced mc, pads, calipers, shoes and wheel cyls. The brakes were still soft.:confused: I bleed them for hours and again the next day with no luck.

Thanks

Randy

Randy,

I think they are the same. You would need to go to the Superduty to get the larger bore M.C.

You are thinking of the M/C for a Super Duty.......I believe F-450?
{damn CRS:sorry: }

The piston bore is slightly bigger...1 1/8" stock vs 1 5/16" for the stuper doopy;) but the mount studs are the same.

I recall two very opposite schools of thought on this swap........

The naysayers cited even with a larger bore/piston, the lines will only give so much force......I never got in that debate:sorry:

The pro side {alledged} was firmer pedal, less foot pressure.

Lemme dig thru some of my saved pages and I'll see what I can dig up.............IF I can remember where they are:confused:
