hot start issue may be a worn injection pump. as things warm up the clearances expand and the pump cant produce enough pressure. ive read here that if it doesnt want to start hot, slowly pour a bottle of cold water on the head of the inj pump. If it starts then-needs a pump rebuild.

I wouldn't use cold water. Outside air temp water would be better. You don't want to thermal shock the outer housing or cause it to shrink so much as to bind on the still hot internal rotor head.
