Lately I seem to get different readings at different times on my volt and temp gauges (the OEM ones).

I have taken voltage readings with a digital multimeter and verified that my charging system is operating properly.

Fuel gauge and the OEM oil pressure gauge are working just as normally as they ever did.

Could these erratic readings on the V and Temp gauges be from a wonky ground or some other oddball behavior in the gauge cluster?

I don't demand or need ultimate precision, but would like them to at least read consistently so that I know that when they drop or rise, that it's a sign that something is up.

thanks!

Electrical wiring

I had a lot of problems with mine. I had missing grounds to the dashboard frame and a lot of dirt, grease, and corrosion at the connector plugs that all of the sensors plug into. Cleaning the connectors gave me the biggest improvement. No my gauges all work fine. I added some isspro gauges to help monitor the engine eventually.
