GovDeals - E4OD Louisville, KY and 86 4wd idi in TX 9,872 miles
If anyone in the Louisville area needs an newer E4OD, this MIGHT be a bargain.
The description listed on govdeals is:
REBUILT FORD E40D TRANSMISSION FROM A 1997 E350 WITH AN INTERNATIONAL 7.3L. FACTORY SHIPPING CONTAINER INCLUDED. I.D. TAG: F7UZ7000NRM R895528
The pictures posted make it look like an unused rebuild.
For anyone not familar with govdeals, it is a website for the sale of surplus of government property all over the US. Most things listed are in an auction format. You must register to be able to bid. Due to deadbeat bidders, they have a probationary system of allowable bids per users. The main one is when you first sign up, you can only bid/buy on 3 items at a time.
You can literally find almost anything on there from school desks to airplanes to scrap iron to police confiscationed items. I was recently looking at welders that a local College replaced. There is a neat any easy search BY LOCATION function that lets you search a radius in miles from a zip code.
Check it all out at:
www.govdeals.com
I also just noticed this 1986 F250 4WD 6.9 with only 9,872 ACTUAL miles in Pearland, TX.

Good luck to everyone,
