Dana 70HD 3.73 to 3.07 gears

Is it possible to put 3.07 gears in a Dana 70HD? If so who even makes them?

Just curious to see if my old rig can pu tout some decent numbers. The rig is a C6 and can't get much above 12.5 mpg at 60mph. Just want to do some testing and not really planning to ever pull with it. I got another pickup and a V8 jeep for the samll stuff.

Any input?

Dint Mel put 3.08s in one of his trucks awhile back and wind up swapig back because he had to floor it to go anywhere and mileage dropped because of that?

For the cost of new gears I'd look for somebody parting a truck out or the like and grab a trans with a overdrive.
Or luck out and find a cheap gear vendors.

eh, its more of a science project at this point....$400 rig.
