Hellow again,
I think that the CA and the high idle stay on constantly.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot these?
The idle seems to be up a little, but that stock tach isn't too reliable.

One thing that has happened is that she will die when stopping, but starts right back up. It has become better with time, so I thought electrical.

You can unplug the cold engine sensor (between the IP, and thermostat) and that will take your cold idle and advance off line permenently. Measure the continuity between pins with a hot engine, and you should not have any if the switch is good. The engine dying is an IP problem, not electrical. Overdose with a lubricity additive.

All I use is pump fuel, is it time to look at a new IP?
Not much smoke, even at start-up cold.

Thanks for the pointers!

No, I think he meant that you should overdose the engine with those additives. I dump in a quart of ATF every time I fill the rear tank to the top, and in the front tank I run a WMO blend so that takes care of itself.

ATF? really?

The problem hasen't occured as of late,

Maybe something ment for the job? Or will i be paying extra$$$ for repackaged ATF?

From what I've read here ATF is actually pretty much the best fuel for an IDI, as it gots plenty of BTUs and also lubricates very very well. I just burn the cheapest ATF I can find, and when I do my shift kit install within next few weeks I'm gonna save all the old ATF and burn that too :D

For the rear? I run 1qt for a full tank, 19 gal or 20 gal or whatever it is. The front is anywhere between 75:25 and 50:50 diesel-WMO blend, basically as much WMO as I have available without going overboard on it.

ATF is OK, but a real lubricity additive like Stanadyne or Howes may attack that problem faster than plain ATF.
