clutch master cyl or slave cylinder

hi my idi i pick up has no clutch peddle goes to the floor is there a way i can find out if its the master or the slave cylinder

Did you check the fluid in the master cylinder yet? Start there, see what the level/condition of the fluid is there.

fluid is full andclear the master looks newer havent looked under it to see the slave

Maybe lots of air in it, I would try to crack the bleeders and see what comes out.

My slave went bad once. Installed a new one,bled it. Worked great for 3 hours. Then the master went bad. Couldn't handle the pressure I guess. If one is bad just be ready to change both. I hope not because they sure don't give those away. They were the original ones in my '88 and had 250,000 on them so I couldn't complain. Except that it was the same day.:***:
