Cat 3316

I've got a friend who is looking for a Cat 3316, 9Gk, engine for his truck. We tease him about the mosquitoe fogging ability that he has now. I think he said it would be around 8,000.00 to rebuild the current engine in his truck, but I suspect there is someone here who has a cheaper alternative.
