Gas prices are expected to surge by 20 to 30% What seems ridiculous now might seem a little more sensible when it becomes a choice of buying food or gasoline.

I never heard of it before...seems dangerous to me. Carbon fiber air tanks holding over 4000 psi?!? What happens in a wreck?

Not to mention that it's gotta take forever to get the tanks up to pressure unless you get that special pump...

I think I'll pass. :)

I'd think the danger even greater hauling around CNG or propane but people do it everyday. I bet A five gallon tank of CNG makes one hell of a boom.

I don't see air powered cars as a viable option either but who knows what the next big thing will be? I personally lean towards ethanol.

Hocking College is displaying a hydro fueled tractor at Ohio State Fair this year. Hydrogen fuel cells are pretty big development wise these days...
