Hey guys-
You might remember I've been fighting a boost leak on my pickup since installing my homemade intake hat to hook up my ATS intercooler with my new ATS turbo. Turns out, the hat warped a little when getting welded, and the thin gasket supplied with the ATS kit wasn't enough to compensate for the warped intake hat, allowing boost to leak out right at the intake manifold. I pinched off my wastegate line, and could only make about 6 psi, so I knew something was up...
I got out my trusty Grainger catalog, and ordered up a 5 1/8" Diamater O-ring made out of 1/4"thick viton rubber. For $10/pair, I was willing to gamble it. Installed yesterday, and now I'm hitting 12psi as planned!
I need to turn up the fuel screw on my POS DPS injection pump, as I'm running out of fuel for sure now...
