As the title states, looking for a good way to hang the stock exhaust system on a 7.3 4x4

The hanger by the muffler as well as the hanger by the tailpipe are both shot, any creative yet successful ways of hanging it without buying new mounts? Not interested in the 7 dollar auto zone aluminum tape with holes in it, something that would last. If I have to buy factory hangars then thats that, not really worried about it just trying to see if anyone has a cheaper/better way of doing it?

Thanks in advance! Exhaust is chilling comfortably on the brake line right now when I hit speed bumps;Sweet

That's what's holdin my tailpipe section up. I used what I had and wanted it on the road. Been workin good for over a year.

I used three super large sized wire ties as a temporary measure which have held up quite well. They may become permanent at some point.
I've seen someone use a couple of steel bands like what is used in shipping large crates too.

You asked for the "BEST" way.
I's have to agree that the factory mounts are the best way. You can cobble up a way to mount it, and many have, and they may work work quite well, but the best way , IMO, is the factory way.

I have a few of the universal strap hangers on my exhaust. No problems to speak of.
