Sheesh, is there any wiring left under the hood?

At this point it may be easier to just remove the firewall. Then you can just reach in and start jumpering stuff.

Personally, I'd move the fuel filter right in front of the dash. Then you could bleed the fuel system while cranking. Maybe even put that glow plug under it to heat the fuel on those cold mornings. And that single gang light switch is so yesterday. Pull chains with a little porcelain knob on the end are all the rage now.

no but really, I would be worried about it being too close to the windshield. Icy windshield and a hot tip... crack

for anyone who is wondering his name is marcrobb on for trucks and is a tinkerer by nature. When I asked him about his gauge thing/setup his response was I don't care I need it to work not look pretty. I believe the glow plug on the dash was temporary. But man between the video and comments what a great laugh.
