Is there a way to fine tune the advance curve?

I've been after this one for a long time.
It's just hard for me to believe that with higher boost turbos and increased intake and exhaust flow that a different curve wouldn't be better.
There is an adjustment for it, but I've often wondered if there wouldn't be a benefit to making a few different cams for different levels of air flow gains.
