Probanly if you have the sipporting hardware and all the fancy electrical doohickies....

3G usually solves most folks problems and are junk yard n parts store availanle anywhere ckmpared to ambulance packages

Dunno what they are doing nowadays, but they used to take the diode packs out
of the alternator, and run the 3-phase back to a controller box. The rotor was
modified also. This was on the 150-225A stuff.
Others ran an unmodified Leece-Neville 150A with a special regulator (for fast idle
signal).
