I'm TEMPERARALLY driving a '98 Dodge with the 24 valve Kuminski {spare co. truck} while my PSD is down for clutch issues.

The ABS and BRAKE idjiot lights remain on and get this...the cruise still functions nermally cookoo
Fluid level is full and pedal press is great with no fade....brake lights are good

Any ideas on where to start looking? Those light drive me nutzz LOL

Any way you can pull the trouble codes? That's about all I can think of right now.

Mine's been on for 2 years. Same thing everything works fine....just no ABS. I prefer the old way anyhow. But the general fix is the sensor on the rear axel and or the brake lite switch. (cheaper) The rear axel sensor plug sometimes gets water in and causes problems so it's the first place to check. Sometimes the wheel sensors cause problems too. Only DC has the code reader for this from what I gather. Never been to the dealer except for dealer only parts.

Unless it affects dash gages or cruise control I think most guys just live with it......I though they were supposed to be on. haha
