All the trucks have fuel plates it's just what profile they have installed. I think you mean does anyone use one other than stock for general trailer towing.... Yes a lot of folks do. I have currently a #10 and I can get my pyro over 1400 but it have to sort of want to. Now we use to pull a 31ft TT, 9200~9500lbs all over the place and I could sit the cruise at 75mph and not have to worry about her overheating on the pyro. Now if I get off my lazy butt and install the wild one that Rubberfish sent me I'm sure my results will change.

I have a 5# in mine with a BHAF, stock pipes with no muffler and an empty CAT. Put the timing at 15.5 and plate in stock position. I can hit 1300 pretty easy but that can be regulated easy with the foot. I tow 12K on a full time basis and made sure I had a good TC and valve plate in my auto. Something you won't need to worry about if you are a "handshaker" driver. 1300 isn't too bad if you limit the time you are there. This machine will do 1200 to 1250 all day and not give trouble if everything is in good condition.
