96 powerstroke wont run

hey my buddy's 96 powerstroke will start an run run about three minutes win cold before it dies win you try to restart it it will fire but wont start

Boy does this sound familiar except mine wouldn't run but 30 seconds. Turned out to be a combination of problems with the Lube pump, front cover and 4 bad injectors.

Check the oil level in the High Pressure Oil Pump Resevoir after it dies. It should be within 1 inch from the plug.

ive had trucks do that with idm issues, it could be a large selection of faulty parts
