hey i just got a 74 ford f100, 302 3 on the tree, its pretty neat, 2wd, baby blue. 88k origi miles. my dad got it for me cause our old 84 6.9 idi finally had its run, 500k+ miles easy. but on another note, when i was reading up on these f100s, a lot of people had trouble with the column shifter sticking in between gears. i was wondering if anyone had that problem that has owned one? i have farted it around town for probly 350 miles, havent had an issue so far, i just drop some 10w30 or 15w40 just any oil on it to keep it lubed. i hope to get 15 years out of this old girl, had to do the motor front seal, and put a water pump in so far. other than that i just gotta replace the exhaust donuts and she'll be good to go.
