7.3 turbo boost gauge

I have a 7.3 idi and I bought a boost gauge along with others and want to install it but it say to cut into the map line and t off that but these trucks don't have that so how do you guys do it and if you don't mind a couple pics thanks for the help and as a side note just got a up and injectors from Conestoga Diesel and love them thanks

You will love the pump and injectors.

What turbo do you have?

When I say intake hat, you know what I mean right? There will be a 1/8th npt port in most any intake hat for the big 3 kits. That is where you tap into the boost pressure.

is this a mechanical or an electric gauge?

anywhere after the discharge nozzle can be drilled and tapped for either a sender or a pressure line (like a oil gauge)

intake hat is most common, and a stock 093 "hat" (part that bolts to intake) should have a pipe plug in the top

usually 1/8" NPT

if its not there you can drill and tap
