6.9 Turbo, C6 & DNE/USG Overdrive

He says it's a "fresh motor"..... hard to tell from the one picture, it does freshly painted. Also doesn't look right for a truck motor somehow. C6 with an overdrive though.

anytime I see a "bomb can betty" paintjob on a motor, I run away as fast as possible. I've seen too many crooks in the past spent much of their rebuild $$$ on buying the motor out of pick-n-pull on 1/2 price day and the remaining a case of engine degreaser and spray paint.
if the motor did come out of a pickup, Al/riotwarrior would be giving his left nut for that saginaw pump and bracket.

that engine is not re-manned
if you save the pic, and zoom, you can see overspray on the AC pulley,
and a missed spot on the PS.
now i am in no way racist, but the translation screams " i just stole this truck and now im selling the engine"
i could be 100% wrong, but anyone with a clue would sell just the turbo, and overdrive seperately and make more coin.

or it could be a scam.. do not go alone. keep one in the hole.

I did not need to zoom in to see that! could you tell if the paint was dry yet?

All good points - I know nothing about it other than the overdrive caught my eye. Didn't really look that close.

On the other hand, *if* the overdrive and turbo are in decent shape it's not that overpriced even if the motor is only a core.
