6.9 questions

I was reading the tech articles and noticed that it said most 6.9 owners change to a 7.3 fuel filter setup- is this done by changing filter heads or can the 7.3 filter just be screwed on the 6.9 filter base over the valve cover?

You change the filter head above the valve cover to the 7.3 version, and this also allows you to remove the water seperator filter beside the master cylinder. This also makes it easier for the fuel pump to pull fuel thru just one filter rather than two.
