Yep one time deal. Completely stock truck except I have my pump turned up. 2nd gear, low range with about 700 pounds of weight in the bed. Tightened up the chain, put it to the floor, let the clutch out nice and slow. Didnt move at first which scared me but she finally got off the line and I kept it floored until the truck wouldnt move. lol.

Man that's sweet you coulda done really good with just a few light mods turbo intake. If I did tht I would wanna do it a couple times lol.

I wish they would have the pulls here. Now they just have that stupid tough truck thing and they expect you to jump your truck and destroy it. In 1999 I got 2nd place at the truck pulls with my 68' Scout with a 2bbl,345, t18 and 3.73 gears. I got beat by a Powerstroke. I beat all the other 454's,460's and Duramaxes etc with a 345 gasser!

When I was a younger I remember my dad had a 50's 60's flat bed ih truck and it was a gasser 4x4 and it was an ox that thing pulled a mobile home back on its foundation on a steep slope probley at least 6% or so. nice motors. I think it had a bigger motor Idk it only lived 6 months it was high mileage and was rough. his friend blew it up shortly after that. My dad says it would still run today 9 years later. He paid 500 for it!!!
