I did my D6o swap in the beginning for the year but never put a front driveshaft in it. Many have told me that my 250 shaft will work but why do 350 have the CV joint? I plow with my truck so which shaft should I go with?

Also if I do get the 350 shaft what is the part number for the T-case yoke to go into my 250?

350 shaft as the drive shaft angle is steeper.
It's not a CV joint (kinda wish it was) but it's a double Cardone joint utilizing two u joints and a centering pin.
Can't tell you part number. Just pull one at a junkyard. But I don't think you'll need it. I can't remember for sure, but I almost wanna say the Tcase flange is the same between 250 and 350. It's the axle flange u joint that's different.

K not 100% on this but IIRC 6NebraskaIDI's had an issue with spline count on his tcase.

F350 could be different output than 250 output shaft on front, don't quote me on this it's just something in back of my mind.

I suppose I could just go bust off the two I have here and compare right...for a solid answer..but it's cold and dark and I'm warm n toasty ready for bed...

Just sayin...

I had 1.125" removed from my F250 driveshaft based on internet research and a quick measurement. I plowed all last winter with it and had ZERO issue with 4x4 (or actually anything, knock on wood). I'm running stock 1994 F350 springs and a 8' straight blade so nothing crazy heavy and no extreme ride heights.

Worked for me

Yoke is different between the 250 and 350, spline count is the same as long as you have a bw1356 tcase, that yoke is hard to find and not needed so much if you have a e4od, c6 or zf5 you may have odd vibrations or binding/hitting trans crossmember. They should all be 1330 series u joints being 250 or 350

I used my 250 driveshaft for ~4000 miles with no issues. Then I swapped to a ZF5 and had to have the shafts modified. Still works perfectly. All 5 of my driveshaft u-joints are 1350's btw.

I guess I should note that I'm on a set of stock, used, PSD 350 front springs and using my stock E4OD trans crossmember... FWIW.

I used the 250 shaft also. No weird issues. I do have a US gear installed though so my front drive shaft is quite long.

I used the F350 driveshaft... I've heard rumor on this mysterious spline count issue but I did not have that on my truck... and yes, it has a 1345 and I used a yoke from a 1356

ont thing is you may need to put the slip yolk end of the shaft at the tcase so it can have more clearance at the crossmember.
