Truck is a 1991 F250 Regular Cab Longbed 4x4 5 speed
Long story: I bought the truck as a beater to drive during michigan winters... since buying it (Nov 2015), i've put a decent amount of parts into it.... i've replaced the glowplugs & glowplug wires, new battery cables, & 2 group 31 batteries, facet electric pump conversion, new vacuum pump, 3G alternator upgrade, new TTB & leaf spring poly bushings, new tie rods & draglink... also of note: PO claimed to have rebuilt T-Case, replaced injectors & IP pump from conestoga... & also put in SMF and new clutch... again PO claimed to, but I have no documentation. Has newish 285/75-16 Cooper Discovery AT'3s... Rears are 9/10... Fronts are 4/10
The bad news... the motor locked up on my drive home today. I was cruising at highway speed, then the motor all of a sudden started knocking bad (sounded like I had a jake brake)... then shut off. I popped the hood & had steam coming out of the intake & the dipstick reading was super high. When I got the truck home, I confirmed the crank would not spin with a breaker bar...
So all this said, before I throw it up on CL for $1 OBO... I wanted to see if there was any interest amongst the oilburners as a parts truck. I will try to get some pictures up this weekend... but for now, here are a few videos of the truck:
