lol I'm sure this one will last for a couple years. I tested the thermostat before I put it in because I don't trust those ones. It opened at 195*F. It's slow to react, but it's better than what was in there. The motor was running sub 60*F on cold mornings into town. The old T-stat wouldn't close all the way and opened too soon on top of it (about 150*F). Unfortunately no one stocks the good t-stats in town, and it had to be done this last weekend or it wasn't gonna get done.

I'm aware of the differences lol I just didn't have a choice in it. I need the money for closing costs on a house so it has to be sold by Thursday. Sunday was the last day I could work on it so I got what I could get.

Beautiful truck! But since I'm from Wisconsin, I don't understand what rust free means. It's something like diet Pepsi, right?
