I've run 16's on 4 bangers and liked them a lot with a 46-49mm compressor. I'm trying to decide whether to run a wastegated 12 or a 16 non-wastegated turbine housing on a first gen intercooled 5.9 motor with a maxxed pump, stock injectors (maybe drop some 330's in), large IC and a 4" pipe. The compressor is just the stock 54mm? 92 dodge unit.

The engine will be in an 11K empty truck and tow at the legal limit everyday. Not looking for huge power, Just 600 lb/ft below 2000 and able to put the pedal to the floor up a grade and not worry about EGT's.

Any words of experience appreciated.

if yer gonna tow go with the 16 non wastegated.........alot more air but the truck will suffer some lag on low RPM startup
