well i strolled through my local hardware store and found a 5 foot length of alum. 4" tubing, a "vent plate" and tube. what the heck for $10 it's worth a shot. i cut the vent plate apart so it was just a flat plate i could screw to the firewall. i took my cowl access plate off, marked it the firewall, than cut it out with the air grinder. some silicone to seal it up, used the cheap zip ties (gotta find 4 inch hose clamps), and a few self tapping screws. then i made some blockoff plates for the vents on the kick panels inside. didn't notice much difference, seems like it enjoys the cooler air in town, we'll see when i hit the highway! ;Sweet
