folks, i know the 7.3idi ran from ‘88!to ‘94, and the body style underwent a change from ‘91 to ‘92.

What was changed when the body style swapped? Is the motor essentially the same and just a different dash?

I’d like to swap it into my truck, and put a Zf-5 behind it, but I don’t know if that would even work. Any ideas?

The harnesses changed along with the accessory drive that was convertered to serpentine from v belts. The engine itself is identical, and either accessory drive style and corresponding harness can be swapped onto each engine. For example the engine in my shop truck is from a 1988 f250, is setup with an accessory drive from a 94 f350, and is installed in a 93 f250. These engines are very simple, and parts for them are like legos, they all interchange.
