    Have one and LOVE it:love:will not use any other. the best IMHO But will not go to the other route due to underhood temps , would eliminate my Hypermax cold air, and the hassle of routing with intercooler piping. Plus My airbox is insulated in a blanket to help keep incoming air charge cold!!!!!

    Yes that was the rule but the rules have changed and engine SWAPS are now against the law!!! Engine replacement is legal within the given model and year. IE 1995 bronco 4.9, 5.0,5.8 is all that is legal with all proper emissions equipment for year and model for the engine. NO UP OR DOWN in years.

    cowl intake vs cold air intake

    If he is running a HyperMax cowl air it is better than a after market cold air which will pull warm air IMHO. the cowl is a high pressure area and the air is colder than air under the hood temps. Just have a good after market air filter in the air box. mine is AFE.
