    I've seen return lines replaced with these type of lines, but not main hard lines. And Hydraulic lines withstand incredible amounts of though, and they're multiple steel braided lines, it might actually be plausible.

    I didn't know that you could squeeze 20 out of a 4.6 auto. the best i've ever seen anybody get around here is about 18, and nothing more.

    You used only 14-16 guage? Isn't that a little weak? I went for 1/8 inch with 4 inch square by 1/8 inch tubing behind it. So about 1/4 inch total, in diamond treadplate. It passed the sledgehammer test and the tree test. :D;Sweet

    Your injector pump housing should have a port in the top near the oil fill where the factory Tach sender goes in, just unscrew it and put a factory tach sender in there.

    if you've got a turbo, it doesn't matter. If you've got a n/a, I would just run duals out the back, there's no difference with stacks.

    Sounds like a U-Joint to me. If it was engine, it would happen at all speeds at the same RPM, not just a certain speed.

    What about a DT466 out of a tractor, I've seen plenty of those. But, they might have smaller housings and spool completely different.

    Yeah, I think a good set of smaller gas turbos would be great, but the objective here is to put it on a 21.5:1 compression IDI...so I think some small turbos would be adequate. But for the extreme side...I would probly go with twin t466 turbos off of a two ton. and then just run twin intake...

    I'm just swapping out whole front and rear end, changing fluid, cutting U bolts, putting it under and bolting everything else up. I think it's easier, but I don't quite understand how to adjust the bearing shims and set preload and yada yada.

    Wait a minute, in the Ford Ranger world, they just take the stock axle housing and ream out the ball joint holes to fit a knuckle off of a Bronco's Dana 44. Why couldn't you just use the same, and that way you can keep with the ford parts? Here's the link...
