Well, the engine quite on my way home but luckily I was only about 60 miles from home and not in California with a trailer to deliver. I connected my aux fuel tank pump into the main line by cutting the tube and got home. I'm glad that the lift pump is a flow through design but don't know if...- aztrooper

Trouble code P0628
Well, it was the lift pump going out. It did it to me once again on my way to California with a trailer and then was OK. Delivered the trailer and got about 50 miles from home and it went out all the way. Had it towed to a Chevy dealer and I jury rigged my transfer pump that transfers fuel...- aztrooper

I have a 2004 Ram 3500 dually with the 5.9 six speed manual trans and 213000 miles. I use it to tow new 5th wheel RV trailers from the manufacturers to dealers around the country. I regularly get 11.5 mpg with the trailer and no wind (about 12.5K trailer weight) at 67mph and 24+ empty at 2100...- aztrooper

Trouble code P0628
I am getting a trouble code P0628 on my 2004 Ram 3500 cummins. According to the trouble code chart, it is Fuel Lift Pump Ctrl Circ Low. Thanks for the heads up on getting the codes using the ignition key. I did that and it came up P-0483 which turns out to be something with the fan. I took it to a transmission shop today for follow-up on their rebuild of my transmission and they said most likely the ignition switch since there...- aztrooper
