So what did you do with your truck today?

He was in numerous motorcycle magazines in the 70s and 80s. He still works on the antiques for the same prices he charged in the 70s. :Thumbs Up

    Parking Brake

My truck has this same issue. It's nice to know that there's a light somewhere on the dash for the parking brake, apparently mine has never worked. Looks like my getting the light working has been added to my "to do" list also.

    Two ZF-5 speeds on CL

That's a lot cheaper than any junkyards I've seen advertised but being on the other side of the country is a deal breaker.

E350 IDI Centurion spotted for sale in Kingman AZ

Okay, so I'll be the voice of dissention. While it may be comfortable to drive and it also performs all the functions required to pull a 5th wheel, you still have to get out from behind the driver seat eventually, turn to face what you just exited, and then somehow find it in yourself to walk...

So what did you do with your truck today?

You have the same year truck as mine. You don't have a picture posted, however. Is yours a crew cab? I've had zero luck finding door panels for the rear doors. I'm to the point of buying a 3D printer and seeing what kind of results I get.

So what did you do with your truck today?

Sounds like just a bit of time and labor. I'm wanting to replace my headliner and carpeting, can't get the dog hair out of the carpet and I don't have a dog. Cutting down on the noise level would be the biggest benefit. I can barely hear anyone talking to me when the engine is running, plus...

Huh, I could do that. Thanks.

Where did you get all that sound pad? Is there any tricks to installing it that you could impart to a newb?

    Spindle Nut Socket Size?

WOW!!! I read through this entire thread and what I came away with is this.... you guys on oil burners, past and present, are some of the most experienced, knowledgeable and helpful people that I've never met. Even with an obstinate, lying knucklehead there was genuinely good advice and...

    Mechanical shutoff

I got on FB simply because I wanted to use marketplace. I used a picture of my truck and for my birthday I used December 7th, 1941. I'm not that chronologically enhanced, but certainly a date I can remember.

So what did you do with your truck today?

My cat ***** used to go for rides with his dog. On long trips when we would stop at a drive through for something to eat, people were always surprised when he would stand at the window and say hi to them.

Yeah, I even wrote it that way in my reply... like a lemming going right off the cliff. :Q

I looked on LMC and rock auto but found nothing. Nice bit of overcoming and adapting.

So what did you do with your truck today?

That makes more sense. When I looked up chip board it showed what looked like cardboard except without the corrugated inside. OBS is what I'm planning to wall the back part of the shop with.

So what did you do with your truck today?

My shop is 40×60. 40×40 of it is enclosed and the rest is under cover, that's where I have the four post lift. It's all under one roof and I'm planning to enclose the part where the lift is at. I have a 10×12 block shed for the lawn equipment and an 8×8 metal shed that has the wood working tools...

So what did you do with your truck today?

Thanks, in hind sight, I should have made the shop larger since it didn't take long to fill it with tools and stuff. You are correct, I should have insulated it. The winters aren't bad, but summer is brutal, it's like being inside an oven. Fans only make it feel like you're in an air fryer...

Huh, figures. I sent my reply after only reading the first few entries of the thread and not only am I late, but now I find out the party is over. I'm glad you got the issue figured out.

I know I'm late to the party, but this is the fuel selector valve I currently am using. It has close to 15k miles on it with no issues.... so far.

I replaced both door hinges and the door striker pin on the driver side. Next time, if I have to replace the hinges on the passenger side, I will remove the fender to make the job easier. I must have put the door on and off about six times before I got the gap correct.

    parallel turbos

Yeah, cut him some slack.... just because the pavement was poured by the ancient Roman's doesn't make it any less of a road. Funny though, that @Nero was the first one to comment on it. :rotflmao
