Fairly sure I was hearing fuel pump relay making noises AFTER the Wait Light went out : "Clicky-click" repeating about 4 times then all quiet -cranked it over but no beastie noises. Yesterday same noise but it fired and seemed to run great other than hesitant to start, and strong fuel fumes...- KYSlowhand

Super (Duty) -Visor advice on cold start
My '88 IDI was not liking to cold start, on the third try it rattled to life; making noises as if a rod had broken or a valve dropped. Been a CDL driver-hand, but enjoy my little '88 Super Duty/ Dump. First load I brought out of the river quarry tested She-It; 20000gw.
