Yes. I had someone move it for me. It was rotating around the shaft entering the transfer case.- 94_IDIT_0830

Slop in 4x4 Shift Linkage
Hi all. Ive searched and have found no one with my problem yet. Maybe I'm not using the right words, idk. But my 4x4 selector has some major play in it. I can only get into 4hi if im lucky. The linkage is rotating on the shaft that goes into the transfer case. Is there supposed to be a key here...- 94_IDIT_0830

Okay guys! Update! So I finally got the transmission apart to take a look at exactly what was going on. The original seal was dry and just kind of hanging out on the shaft... no press fit at all. Zf-5 Input Shaft Leak
It's in the boot on these transmissions, correct? The boot seems to be clean and free of debris. It is a little torn up though.- 94_IDIT_0830
