Not sure what you mean by draining oil over a magnet. But yes it does have lock outs and I did put it in 4 wheel drive and drove a few and it seamed to stop for a few but then a few days later it came back. Tried to do it again but it did not help this last time.
I know this is a old post but just wondering what ever came of this because I am having the same issues with my truck. It pulls to the right then releases and pulls to the left and then jerks and pulls back to the right. Then when you turn right it pulls to the left while turning right then...
That is about the same way my truck was acting like after I put a new ip in it. Never did get it started my self. In the shop now. I will to let you know what was the problem with mine when I get it back.
I have done three layer crown and I know what you mean. It can get confusing at times. But I love doing it and the feeling you get when you look at it when you are done and know you did that.
Ya I am new here. And I have already talk with a few of you.
I am from Greenfield IN I am a custom trim carpenter and I use my truck to pull a trailer every day for work.
94 f350 7.3 idi factory turbo e40d
It was running on its own. I even drove it down the road just had no power at all only got up to 45
Then shut it off wait about 30 seconds try to start and nothing
Do you know if there is anyone on here from indy that could help me out and maybe take a look at it. Just don't want to have to take it all of for nothing?
Can I check it without removing the pump again ? Don't want to have to remove it if I don't have to. This my first time doing it and it takes me a while. That and does anyone know if there is anyone on here from the indy area that maybe able to take a look at it for me. Just to make Sure I did...
Ya that is another one of my rookie mistakes. But I did mark the gear and gear housing so that when I put it back it was in the exact same spot as it was when I removed it. If it gets one to thaw would it make that big of a difference that it wouldn't start?
Auto zone I have thought it maybe a bad pump. Even if the timing was off would it try to fire or have some white smoke coming out the pipe when it is turned over ?
I just replaced them and the controller. They are working fine has ran good all winter without having to plug it in. My pump shafts broke Sunday and I just put the new pump in. Will not start on its own. I got it running with starting fluid got it all the way up to temp shut it off 30 sec later...
