Powerstroke oil considerations

Tranny problems when tlr lights are hooked up!!
The shifting in and out of od might just be the converter unlocking, it is controled by the brake lights, Ive even herd if you turn on the hazzards the convertor will lock and unlock as the lights flash.- 92chevyidi

Transmission Issue
I have a 92 chevy k1500 with the 6.2. Has an odd problem on what I think is a 700r4. It will stay in first until about 2500 rpm then shift straigt to what seems like 3rd gear since the converter will lock a few seconds after and thats as far as it will go, no 4th. looking for a project, diesel swap in an SUV. looking for ideas
I dont know how easy the swap would be but how about a 4bt in a first gen dodge durango, Im 6'2 and mine is very comfortable- 92chevyidi

And this is my Ford it is an 01 with 250k miles, has a superchips programmer (not much longer), diy intake, 4in turbo back exhaust with a resinator and egale alloy rims with 305/70 tires on them- 92chevyidi

this is the truck, I think its gonna clean up real good (just picked it up last night) gonna get some new rims and tires along with a bumper, the interior is actually in really good shape, the only thing that doesnt work is the radio.- 92chevyidi

Just bought a 92 chevy with the 6.2 in it, definatly a project truck since it was sitting for a very long time but it fired right up and only had a few hicups on the trip home. I know a bit about diesels (mostly powerstrokes) so this idi is a whole new world to me. Hope to help as much as I can...- 92chevyidi
