    7.3 PSD Up-pipes

I've got Irate diesel bellowed up pipes that I never used before deciding to go with a different turbo setup. I'd like to get $500 for them since they're unused, they sell for $600. I'm not on this site very much, but i'll try and check though. Text would be best. 701-263-1040

So What Did You Do With Your PSD Today?

Got my fuel tank mounted up, hangs down 3" more than the old tank but the suspension sits ~7" higher than factory. Kind of wish I went deeper.:dunno I got a couple odds and ends to do then the box should go back on tomorrow.

    What does your OBS weigh?

I'll have to do that, should have the box on and be driving it again tomorrow.

    What does your OBS weigh?

I've been doing some thinking lately about just what a OBS can handle. I know there are tons of threads about "how much have you towed" but I'm curious what the pickup and trailer weigh combined. Some pickups weigh a lot less than mine and there are ones with service bodies that weigh more...

So What Did You Do With Your PSD Today?

Got the majority of my fuel tank welded up, still have to make the mounts and pressure test it. Overall it came out pretty good, some of the welds aren't the best looking but I was more focused on sealing than looks.

So What Did You Do With Your PSD Today?

Managed to make a little progress on my tank, after finishing a side project for a friend.

So What Did You Do With Your PSD Today?

Did some little stuff. Made a new handle for for the gooseneck, got the metal for my tank, started butchering the donor tank. The sending unit mount is going to be easier to transfer than I thought. I also figured out why these tanks are such a pain in the a$$ to fill. Never knew the fill tube...

So What Did You Do With Your PSD Today?

A sump would be easier, but to me it seems like it would draw more debris into the lines. Especially on a fabricated tank since there's sure to be some crap in it as the mill scale flakes. But I'm paranoid about stuff like that. :dunno

So What Did You Do With Your PSD Today?

Yup, built about a dozen or so at my last job so I'm practiced. Going to use the pickup and sending unit out of a bronco, that way the gauge still reads correct.

    Suggestions for tow rig tire...

Firestone Transforce A/T, Cooper AT3, or Hankook RF10 or RT03 if you want more grip. I personally run the Hankooks RF10, but I put all three on customers vehicles all the time and haven't had a complaint.

So What Did You Do With Your PSD Today?

The hitch is finished finally I welded everyplace I could, the main cross bars are 1/4" wall plated with 1/4" plate. Decided on the rear fuel tank dimensions and it should be about 45 gallons, depending on how deep I make it.

So What Did You Do With Your PSD Today?

Got the frame notched and test fit the 5th wheel hitch, to make sure the pucks lines up right. Tomorrow I'll hopefully get that welded up and finish the track bar. Checked my hitch height against a factory 01 CCLB F-350 7.3L and it's only an inch taller, which puts me right where I wanted to...

So What Did You Do With Your PSD Today?

Mostly just looked at it but did manage to get some little stuff done along with most of the gooseneck/fifth wheel hitch.

So What Did You Do With Your PSD Today?

Lifted the box of this past weekend, to make working easier. Today I got my air tank and compressor brackets bolted to the frame, ordered some steel for my new gooseneck/fifth wheel hitch. Also figured out how I'm going to make the track bar, just need to find a place to bend .25 wall DOM...

So What Did You Do With Your PSD Today?

A good bumper pays for it's self when you have deer running around. I smacked one today with my 460 in the background, thankfully it was young so it stayed below the bumper. The last one I hit pushed the bumper into the fender which hit the door jamming it shut.-cuss

So What Did You Do With Your PSD Today?

Finally got a chance to work on my airliner setup again, bag mounts are made and installed. Still need to build a trackbar for it but that'll be done at the same time as the new gooseneck hitch. Takes around 20 psi to hold ride height empty, I even took it for a quick drive and I'd say it's...

    OBS lug or hub centric

In a way both, the factory rims are hub centric. But they also use tapered lug nuts which kind of makes them lug centric.

So What Did You Do With Your PSD Today?

Did some work on installing the airliner suspension. Had to build front hangers that hung 2" further off the frame. Tomorrow I'll pull my 38 gall rear tank so that I can build bag mounts and a new tank to fit around the bags.
