6.0s are hit and miss. I had decent luck with mine and I beat the piss out of it but i've had friends that have had lots of problems.- Newman

It is probably a bad EGR cooler. Pull the EGR valve annd see if it is gooey in the intake. You probably need a oil cooler too.- Newman

Oil Temp Problems 6.0
My 05 lost the STC at 60K miles. It is a very common failure. I would fix that and see what your oil temps do.- Newman

IIRC: Diff, tranny and t-case service. If it was my truck I would also flush the cooling system and clean the EGR valve- Newman
