My cold side clamp on the hose side decided it no longer wanted to work. I tightened it 2x and both times it failed. So I am going to upgrade at a min that connection. What coupler and clamps do y'all recommend? Is it best to just get the AFE piping which comes with their hose and clamps?
It is that time in life where I needed a newer truck. So I have to sell the old one.

I searched but could not find anything relating to tire size itself. 88' F250 4x4 regular cab C6. Currently running 285-75/16, which is equal to 33"s. My front bumper is not factory, so lots of clearance there. What size tires can I run? Are 37"s possible?
What about turning radius with larger...
After an encounter with a snobbish Ford rep I have decided to move to GM for my next truck. It wont be for another year, next tax season specifically. But I am going to either get a 6.5T or a Duramax. It will have to be 4x4, quad cab, 8ft bed. I would love to get a manual, but those are...
So I'm hopefully looking for another truck after taxes come back. And normally I'm a Ford person (currently 88' F250 4x4 7.3IDI auto) But am open to other brands. I know there are lots of prou and cons to each. But I need a 4x4 diesel 4-door. I would prefer an 8 foot bed. And a stick would be a...
Does anyone make them for an 88 F250?
The shop was finally able to look into the brake problem. And like someone else said it was the line collapsing after they get warmed up. So I am going to have the lines replaced. And I might as well make them the best lines.
I have seen a few people that have used it. How is it working for you? What did you do to make it work well?
I am thinking about getting one as my rear drums are shot. I dont tow anything unless I have to. I mostly use the truck for going to the dump or camping with a tent. With me in it, it...
My drivers side door quit rolling up the window. My doors are not in the best shape physically as is. So my options are either put on new doors or convert to manual. I dont really care about things matching as long as they physically fit. As I understand it for a manual swap I need the...
Is it possible without to much hassle? Has anyone done it?
My exhaust broke and I always liked the look of pulling trucks having the exhaust come out the hood. So I was thinking I could just run the exhaust out of the hood about 4 inches and put a flapper on top.
I went to get my truck inspected and it only failed 1 thing, the license plate light. After thinking I could just replace the bulb I ended having to replace the whole housing. I am pretty sure its not factory as I ended up using a universal license plate light from Advanced Auto...
I am changing my rotors today and may have a few questions. I have one right now actually. Do you need a press to press out the studs or will a hammer and wood work?
Well after tearing apart my brakes to replace a caliper and now the pad I am going to have to replace the rotors as well. I found a helpful thread on that. But what I need to know is what rotors are OK to get. For my limited budget I have to do this myself. So its either the Napa ones Part# NB...
So my left right brake caliper is leaking pretty good. I have never seen that before. It will be an easy fix. So I am going to replace the entire caliper. What is the best brand to get?
My glow plugs work, I have plenty of battery, and the starter cranks awesome, its 45 degrees and misty rain (I live in NC). I get some smoke when cranking, but still nothing. It has tried for like 1 second here and there while cranking. I have even resorted to a little bit of ether and it still...
I need to hook up a electric fuel pump and I am not to good with electronics with these trucks. And I dont have the money to take it somewhere. So I need someone to actually come over and help me out. I can pay you in Faygo, deer sausage and herbs.
So I converted to rear only tank. I no longer need the fsv but its still hooked up and all. And I noticed that the fuel line runs on the drivers side, but the pump is on the pass side. So what do I need to do in order to run new fuel line on the pass side and get rid of the drivers side stuff...
