ford dealer mechanic believes if i'm getting water in the oil and oil in the water that i should replace the oil cooler tube. does everyone agree with that?- rodney350

oil cooler
can someone tell me exactly how the oil cooler works on a 7.3 idi. although separate, does oil and water enter the cooler on one end and leave on the other. sounds stupid but it will help me make my decision.- rodney350
