    Should i need to use glow plugs in the summer?

    Do these engines normally need the gp's to start on a warm 85F morning, or should it start on compression? if i burn the plugs it lights right off, and anytime it's warm i don't need them. Does it have to do with the timing or fuel quality?

    Brake master Cylinder ?

    There is an unused plug on the end of my m/c right where the brake line leaves. Should this have something plugged into it? Trying to diagnose rabs light and wanted to start with connections first. Thanks

    trailer brake wiring

    i have an unused plug under the radio and think it maybe for trailer brakes. if so, is there a pigtail that should hook up? seems i remember some trucks coming with them in the glove box:dunno

    found a 392 in a barn

    i think it's a 392 out of a motorhome. looks pretty clean. rad and fan still attached. just thought it was cool. you never know what youre gonna find under a tarp!

    O/D light flashing when tires are spinning

    Noticed that while driving through some soft sand the other day that the o/d light started flashing. As soon as the tires got grip again it went off. Any ideas?btw I did it a few times with the same reults.

    New batt cables now dead

    Installed new db starter and batt cable from ford. Everything worked like new, then about an hour after I went to start the truck and it is dead. No lights, no sounds. 12.5v on both batts. 12.5v at solenoid. Tried jumping with a screwdriver and starter didn't budge. Ran jumpers from my running...

    Crew cab parts???

    Anybody know if lmc or npd carry crewcab specific stuff like carpet and headliners? I have both catalogs but they aren't listing them. Can we buy replacement seats? Oh, and mine is a 1 ton srw, they only list steering components for the ttb. Thanks guys

    Cleaning alcoas?!?

    I scored a set of alcoas in pretty good shape but some of the clear coat is peeling off. Any suggestions on stripping these wheels down? Also, where is a good place to find rear center caps? Thanks guys

    Vacuum pump

    Hey guys, 1993 7.3 n/a with original vacuum pump. Today the power brakes were only working intermitently. Pulled the hose off the booster and had vacuum. Didn't have a gauge on me but will get a reading tommorow. Before I just go buy a new pump I was just wondering if there was anything else...

    O/D light flashing only when a/c is on

    Hey guys, 93 idi, over drive light flashing only when iturn the a/c on. Swith shows .5 - 4.5 volt range. Set at .8 volts at idle. Drives fine, turn on the a/c and light flashes. Any help would be great. Thanks
