Hello im putting a new 6.9 and swapping from c6 to t19. The driveshaft that was given to me out of the truck and was a one ton. So the driveshaft is too long. Does anyone know what length does a 3/4 ton 2 piece drive Need so i can have this driveshaft shortened. Thanks
Howdy yea that sounds like a good plan! im aware the harness in that pic is shot its in a parts truck i was using to get an idea where to connect everything . I was using it to get an idea of where everything goes wiring wise but its hard nowadays to find a diesel with an unmolested wiring...
Hey guys im working on the 6.9 and i decided to make sure the wiring wont burn my truck down. Does any one have pictures of the glowplug connector to the main harness. Doing a marine fuse block and i need to know which wires go where as the previous owner hardwired 3 wires out of the glowplug...
Thank you for the info. This is a later motor so it does have the roller bearings. I was doing some research and summit does offer .10 over pistons for the 6.9
Was just planning on doing a reaseal before i put the new motor in my truck. Removed the head and a cylinder had rust all over the walls. Flex honed and walls are pitted. Im assuming i should do a complete tear down and send the block and heads out and go .10 over.
