The batteries where cranking at a very low voltage for starters, cranking at 8 volts the report says. The dealer recharged them, ran their tests, and let the truck sit over night. Oil Sending Unit
Are you taking about the High Pressure Oil Pump? Thats located on the rear of the engine behind the turbo on top of the engine valley if thats what your refering too. I would say so, but it did puff white smoke at start up for a few seconds when it was bone stock. Unless it had been driven for a while that day it did always puff white smoke. It was very little and only for a second or two, but it was their.- TorqueDiesel60

Ya defininetly ditch the EGR! Its a plague on diesels. It throw way to much heat in the coolant and subsiquently the rest of the engine, which can blow head gaskets after the head studs fail.- TorqueDiesel60

How bad will gas hurt a 6.0?
Anyone who tells you gas in a diesel is a f**king moron! You need to drain the tank, and get new fuel lines, but its probably to late. ANY GAS NO MATTER HOW LITTLE will F**K UP a 6.0L to know end. It will ruin the injectors. 6.0L are very sensitive to fuel quality. Its not a LDT465 Multifueler...- TorqueDiesel60

Possible problem and fix Its probably a head gasket blow or stuck EGR valve. The OE head studs will fail, not if, when! Ya thats what ive heard from people and see in videos. Right now I can hear the turbo spool in cab pretty well, but the exhaust note is **** poor for the most part. Im leaning towards a 5" turbo back from MBRP for about $700 right now. What do you guys think about tips? Tip or no tip?- TorqueDiesel60
